2024 Walter Payton Award Nominees: Celebrating NFL Stars Making a Difference On and Off the Field

The NFL has announced the 32 nominees for the 2024 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, honoring players for their excellence on the field and impactful community service. This prestigious award, named after the legendary Walter Payton, recognizes those who exemplify leadership and dedication both in their professional and personal lives.

Notable nominees include:

Travis Kelce (Kansas City Chiefs): Recognized for his work with the Eighty-Seven & Running Foundation, supporting underserved youth with resources and opportunities.

Solomon Thomas (New York Jets): Co-founder of The Defensive Line, focusing on mental health awareness and suicide prevention among young people, inspired by personal family tragedy.

Jared Goff (Detroit Lions): Acknowledged for his philanthropic efforts in Detroit, including hosting community events and supporting local youth programs.

The winner will be announced during the NFL Honors ceremony on February 6, 2025 in Las Vegas, and will receive a donation of up to $265,000 for a charity of their choice, while all nominees receive up to $55,000 for their selected charities.
