Malcolm‑Jamal Warner, celebrated actor, musician, and cultural voice, passed away on July 20, 2025, at the age of 54 after a tragic drowning accident in Costa Rica. Best known for his role as Theo Huxtable on The Cosby Show, Warner was more than a child star—he was a multitalented artist who continued to evolve and influence for over four decades.
Born August 18, 1970, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Warner captured America’s heart in the 1980s as the witty, relatable teen son of Cliff and Clair Huxtable.
